Builders\u2019 not \u2018Ambulance Drivers\u2019<\/p><p>We seek to deliver intervention, protective and preventative processes based on well thought through anthropologically sound evidence-based practice. Good and workable prescriptions matter, giving children and their families not only direction and clarity, but also sound foundational life motivators such as hope, purpose and meaning, that are also key in allowing the Affective Domain education to \u2018stick\u2019.<\/p><p>Dalgarno Institute is unique in\u2026<\/p><ul><li>Pioneering Community initiated Alcohol and Drug Advocates and Educators.<\/li><li>We utilize multidiscipline and innovative advocacy and education programs, approaches and pedagogies.<\/li><li>Solid research backing with qualified and highly experienced staff and supporters including Cognitive Based Therapists, Medical Practitioners and Educators.<\/li><li>Empowerment model based on \u2018together\u2019 not simply promoting individuality \u2013 promoting positive peer engagement and intervention.<\/li><li>Assisting young people and communities to look beyond the \u2018pop-culture\u2019 and often intimidating peer solidarity, to little considered but imperative psycho-social health benefits and elements\u2013 including values formation and worldview calibration.<\/li><li>We focus beyond symptoms and \u2018Band-aid\u2019 approaches and endeavour to
