Canada is just the most recent place that the bold declarations have been made in the Public Health arena. (one must wonder though, if this profiling isn\u2019t in some way an attempt to get&nbsp;<i>eyes off<\/i>&nbsp;the cannabis crisis and growing harms \u2013 but one can only speculate.)<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">For example in 2018 after reviewing data and research as far back as 2016,&nbsp;<i>The Lancet<\/i>&nbsp;sent a \u2018shot across the bow\u2019 of the alcohol industry declaring that&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dalgarnoinstitute.org.au\/wp_site\/for-your-health-no-amount-of-alcohol-is-safe\/\" target=\"_blank\">For Your Health, No Amount of&nbsp;Alcohol&nbsp;Is Safe<\/a>&nbsp;and it was a harbinger of looming data that cancer appears to be a risk factor.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In 2017 Australian research and analysis found more than a correlation between alcohol consumption and various cancers&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dalgarnoinstitute.org.au\/wp_site\/alcohol-consumption-and-liver-pancreatic-head-and-neck-cancers-in-australia-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alcohol&nbsp;consumption&nbsp;and&nbsp;liver, pancreatic, head&nbsp;and&nbsp;neck&nbsp;cancers in Australia: 2017<\/a><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">A significant Japanese study of large cohort was released in 2019 making the disturbing claim that,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dalgarnoinstitute.org.au\/wp_site\/drinking-just-one-glass-of-wine-or-pint-of-beer-each-night-may-raise-your-cancer-risk-by-5-as-scientists-warn-the-safest-amount-of-alcohol-is-none\/\" target=\"_blank\">Drinking just ONE glass of wine or pint of beer each night &#8216;may raise your&nbsp;cancer&nbsp;risk by 5%&#8217; as scientists warn the safest amount of&nbsp;alcohol&nbsp;is NONE<\/a><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">2021 saw the World Health Organisation Chime in with their findings, unabashedly starting causal links with Cancer,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dalgarnoinstitute.org.au\/wp_site\/alcohol-is-one-of-the-biggest-risk-factors-for-breast-cancer-w-h-o\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alcohol&nbsp;is one of the biggest risk factors for breast&nbsp;cancer&nbsp;(W.H.O)<\/a><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Canadian Health experts and researchers are now lobbying their policy makers and politicians to have&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/health\/alcohol-warning-labels-cancer-1.6304816\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u2018cancer warning\u2019 labels on all alcohol<\/a>, such is the concern over this Class one carcinogen.<br \/>It\u2019s time all jurisdictions adopted this measure, not just for the Cancer issue, but F.A.S.D and other diseases caused by this legal substance.<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">See Also<br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/health\/alcohol-cancer-risk-warning-1.6715769\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><b>It\u2019s time for warning labels<\/b><\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/apple.news\/A4jhxYSaTR8qPCkZsCc1SGg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><b>Is there a safe limit of alcohol you can drink?
